Gratitude is “the feeling or quality of being grateful, the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.” The mental health benefits of gratitude are endless. There is an increased self-esteem, a feeling of accomplishment, positive emotions and thoughts, and enhanced mood.
"Gratitude" is the act of recognizing and acknowledging the good things that happen, resulting in a state of appreciation. It is the ability to experience life as a gift.
